About
I care for my patients the way I’d want someone to care for my own family—with empathy, clarity, and a deep sense of responsibility. As a pediatric and neuro-ophthalmologist, I know vision problems can be overwhelming, especially when they affect how we connect with the world. Whether managing eye alignment, vision changes, or a complex neurologic condition, I focus on clear communication, thoughtful guidance and shared decision-making. When surgery is needed, I aim to make the process as smooth and transparent as possible. I approach each case with care, precision, and a focus on what matters most to the patient. Above all, I want people to feel supported—both medically and personally.

Dr Bruce is fantastic. I feel I am in great hands with her skills and dedication.
Very good and friendly
Very child friendly
Very helpful
Dr. Bruce took time to talk through all the findings, comparing this visit to previous visit findings, discussed concerns and non-concerns for her, and then helped work through the plan based on her findings to determine how we can best approach other specialty providers who can subsequently affect these findings. While we have to have another image done at another site, we have solid plans based on those results. Providers sometimes get frustrated when people ask, "well what if this doesn't work," because it's easier to assume everything is fine and not make unnecessary plans, but based on the history of my daughter, I really appreciate her willingness and openness to discuss the what-if situations. It helps reduce concern/anxiety that we will have to be reactionary to situations, rather than proactive and ready for many of those situations. Thank you!
