I was born and raised in Southeast Wisconsin, and I can't imagine living anywhere else. I am excited to be a part of this community and to raise my family here. Speaking of my family, we live here in the North Shore. My wife, Kristal, and I have four kids. How did we make it to four kids so fast? Well, in addition to our oldest girls Kate and Anna, we have twins (Luke and Ally). If you think raising 1 kid at a time is an adventure – and it is – you should try two at once. We also have a golden retriever who is the perfect family dog and doesn't mind having kids climbing all over him as long as we keep feeding her.

We like to get out when we can and you may see us riding our bikes, playing at the park, swimming at the pool or shopping at the grocery store. If you come to meet me you will quickly see I am a die-hard Brewers fan. One of my patient rooms even has a Brewers theme. I'm working to shape my kids into Brewers fans so I can increase the number of games in my season ticket plan.

I feel very fortunate to be a part of this practice and care for the children in this community. As a parent I understand the importance of having an open and comfortable relationship with your child's pediatrician. I actively involve parents in their child's medical care and feel strongly about patient and parent education. There will be many questions that come up along the way and I am always available to listen to any concerns and answer questions you may have. My goal is to support you and your family and provide your children with excellent medical care throughout their development from the newborn period to young adulthood. My one request is that my patients don't get sick on Brewers' Opening Day!

I love everything about my job, from helping new parents adjust to having a newborn in the house to working through the teenage years. It's great when, during the same day, I can impress preschoolers with my knowledge of princesses and tractors and then talk video games, sports and social networking with teenagers. Being a pediatrician is the best job in medicine. I get to watch my patients grow up at the same time they are keeping me young.
