About
Cornell Smith is a nationally certified and state-licensed athletic trainer with Children's Wisconsin's Sports Medicine Program.
Cornell earned a bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He performed his graduate studies at Indiana University-Bloomington, prior to practicing professionally in athletic training.
Cornell completed his internship with the Milwaukee Brewers Professional Baseball. He has also served as the lead athletic trainer in the past for the McDonald's All-American High School Basketball Games in Milwaukee, WI. His past professional experience also includes him occupying the title of head athletic trainer for the Milwaukee Ballet Company and assistant athletic trainer for the Milwaukee Wave Professional Indoor Soccer team.
Cornell obtains a variety of experiences from the clinical, high school, performing arts, collegiate, and professional settings of athletic training, and has treated many athletes from local clubs and teams in the Milwaukee Metro area.
