About
Cindy Schwartz, MD, MPH, is an accomplished oncologist who brings 35 years of experience, passion and expertise in the areas of Hodgkin lymphoma, osteosarcoma and childhood cancer survivorship. Her national leadership in these areas is reflected in her significant clinical trials experience, and her development of long-term survivorship programs at several institutions.
She was trained in pediatrics and pediatric hematology/oncology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and received her medical degree from Brown University Program in Medicine. Most recently, she was division head and chair of Pediatrics, ad interim, and director of Clinical and Translational Research in Pediatrics at University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Dr. Schwartz came to Children’s Wisconsin because of the focus – on every level – on children’s health and the expertise of the outstandingly committed faculty. She looks forward to serving patients and to continuing to lead cutting-edge research that can transform the approach to treatment of cancer in children.

Ratings & Reviews
Why doesn't this provider have ratings?
At Children's, you can expect the very best care and service from all our providers — but not all will have ratings or reviews displayed online, for a few possible reasons.
The provider may:
- Not have received the minimum number of reviews (to ensure accuracy, we require a minimum of 30 patient surveys before we develop each provider's rating)
- Care for patients only as part of a team
- Not see Children's Wisconsin patients
