I'm a pediatric clinical neuropsychologist, which means that I help understand how children develop, think, learn, behave, and socialize. I employ a patient-centered and family-focused approach to my evaluation services and enjoy connecting with caregivers and other members of a child’s care team. I specialize in the evaluation and care of children with medical, neurological, and neurodevelopmental disorders, with particular focus and expertise in working with young children under the age of 6 years. My background also includes significant experience in the early identification of autism spectrum disorder through screening and early diagnostic evaluation, which continues to be a part of my clinical practice. My research interests focus on understanding developmental trajectories and longitudinal cognitive outcomes in young children with a history of prematurity, perinatal complications, medical and neurological conditions, and congenital heart disease. I’m also interested in developing efficient screening and evaluation processes for autism spectrum disorder in high-risk clinical populations, including NICU graduates, and exploring autism spectrum disorder symptomatology in medical populations, including individuals with congenital heart disease.
