Tia is an amazing nurse practitioner, she's friendly, knowledgeable and clearly meant for this job
She is great and great with explaining things
She used very big medical terms when describing health conditions and diagnoses. I'm aware of the meaning of those terms because I'm in the medical field as well, and maybe she knew that. But I would recommend using terms that support the health literacy of all families as well as explanations that the patient could understand. This is more feedback for her to continue to improve in her practice; nothing that was detrimental to the visit or the care we received. Otherwise, she was very pleasant and thorough. I also loved the video visit option!
After an abysmal experience with the GI department last year, I was very relieved to have an exceptional experience with a different department. Thank you so much for listening and investigating.
I think that the surgeon, or what it's called, is doing a very good job. The staff is very friendly, and helpful.
