About
Trina O'Malley is a nationally certified and state-licensed athletic trainer who joined Children’s Wisconsin Sports Medicine Program in 2015.
A former high school and club volleyball player, Trina combined her love of sports and passion for helping others by earning a bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2012. While at UWM, Trina completed an internship with Froedtert Sports Medicine and their Performance Enhancement Program as well as Wisconsin Lutheran College.
After graduating Trina completed a year internship as an Athletic Trainer at Beloit College. Following her passion for nutrition, Trina returned to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee to obtain her minor in Nutritional Sciences in 2014. Trina then went on to obtain a master's degree in Athletic Training from the University of Virginia in 2015 while also serving as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the UVA softball program. While at UVA, Trina specialized her thesis and research in sports related concussion.
When not at work, Trina enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
